Asst. Prof. Dr. Ferdin Joe John Joseph is the representative from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology having the special talks in Online training program on Digital Agriculture and AI driven Precision Farming during 21-26 Feb 2022 by AIT Extension, Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok (AIT).<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferdin Joe’ s Training was given to Propick Digital Solutions under the patronage of the ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia. Also, the topics delivered; <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Drones and IoT for smart agriculture<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2. IoT for precision agriculture and greenhouse automation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This course will help young graduates, experienced farmers, aspiring individuals to create new opportunities in agricultural sector meeting the industry and market standards, thru which, new jobs, new business can be established in the future. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The course will also help the participants to understand and learn the farming techniques in innovative manner applying latest technologies and creating new B2B market in generating revenue and contributing to the country’s GDP. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is an online training program with mostly Live Sessions where participants will be able to interact and communicate each other and with the resource person. An online learning platform will be used to ensure effective training delivery and follow up on key learning points. The link of e-learning platform will be shared with all the participants with user guideline in advance. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n


The program delivery methodology will be based on adult learning principles, with an experiential approach designed to achieve the program objectives. The program will use a variety of training methods, combining interactive lectures with a balance of participatory learning techniques such as small group discussion, brainstorming, demonstration, observation, and pre & post-test.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
